Manual backup
Settings, Create Encrypted Backup. Kryptis writes one encrypted file containing the photos, videos, albums, encrypted contacts and Saved Emails in the current vault. Save it to iCloud Drive, a computer, or any folder outside the app. An optional extra lock adds your recovery keys to the file, so restoring needs both the passcode and the twelve words.
Automatic iCloud Sync
Turn it on in Settings and Kryptis keeps an encrypted backup of your media and contacts in your own iCloud Drive, replacing the previous one after each successful update. It is backup and restore, not live merging between devices. Turning it off stops updates but leaves the existing backup in place. Automatic sync is a Premium feature.
Restoring
Settings, Restore Encrypted Backup. Use the passcode the backup was created with, even if you changed it since, plus the recovery keys if the extra lock was on. Restoring replaces the current vault.
