  1. AES-256-GCM encryption on the phoneEvery photo, video and file in Kryptis is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on the iPhone before it is stored, along with its metadata. No account, no server.
  2. No account, no sign-up, no serverKryptis never asks for an email, a phone number or a password. There is no server holding your photos, your identity or your key.
  3. Decoy Vault: a second passcode opens a second vaultA second passcode opens a separate Kryptis vault with its own albums and items. Under pressure, you open that one.
  4. Self-Destruct Mode: a third passcode erases everythingEnter the self-destruct passcode at the lock screen and Kryptis deletes the main vault, the decoy vault and their encryption keys, then opens an empty vault as if nothing happened.
  5. Intruder Alerts: every failed unlock, recordedKryptis records each failed unlock with the time and the code that was tried, and takes a photo with the front camera when camera access is allowed.

  9. Face blur while shootingKryptis detects faces and blurs them in the captured photo or recorded frames, inside the private camera, before the file is stored.
  10. Download from a link, straight into the vaultPaste a link to a public photo, video or stream and Kryptis downloads it directly into the encrypted vault, without touching the camera roll or Files.
  11. Local Transfer: move files from a computer over your own Wi-FiOpen Local Transfer, type the address into a browser on your computer, enter the one-time code, and move files both ways over your own network. Nothing passes through a server.
  12. Encrypted backup in your own iCloudKryptis backs up the vault as an encrypted file to iCloud Drive or a folder you choose, and can keep an automatic encrypted backup in your own iCloud. Nothing goes to a Kryptis server.
  13. Recovery keys: twelve words only you holdAt setup Kryptis shows twelve recovery words. They are the only way to reset a forgotten vault passcode. Tuvo Labs never has a copy.
  14. Burner Email: addresses that expire in 24 hoursCreate up to five temporary email addresses inside Kryptis. Each receives mail for 24 hours, then disappears. Save the messages you want; the rest is gone.
  15. Private contacts, encrypted and apart from the address bookKeep people in Kryptis instead of Apple Contacts. Entries are encrypted in the vault, can be copied or moved from Contacts, and never sync to iCloud.
