What it does
Face blur is a mode of the private camera. When it is on, Kryptis detects faces in the frame and blurs them in the captured image, or in every frame of a recording. You choose the blur coverage from the camera controls.
Why before, not after
Editing a photo after the fact leaves the original somewhere. Blurring at capture means the only file that ever exists is the blurred one, and it is encrypted the moment it is saved.
Limits
Face blur works with still photos and video. Live Photos are not captured while blur is on. Detection depends on the camera seeing a face; a face turned away or heavily obscured may not be detected.
